Testimonials on our Professional Learning

“After taking part in the iBasics Conference in 2016, I had no hesitation in asking Justine from MyLearning to design and present a school based professional development day to assist our teaching staff in developing skills to use the iPad in their classrooms. Our school had recently gone 1 to 1, using iPads as the specific device. Justine was very well prepared, her knowledge was excellent and her method of presenting to the whole school teaching staff was fantastic. Justine has made an incredible difference to the confidence that the staff feel in using the iPad and I can’t thank her enough. I highly recommend Justine and her MyLearning organisation for professional development of teaching staff with technology.”

Cathy Russell, Head Teacher – Science
Bomaderry High School (NSW)

“This year I attended three MyLearning conferences and each broadened my perspective around effective integration of technology and equipped me with the skillset vital for my role at my school. As a school leader and teacher it strengthened my ability on many ways of facilitating learning around technology with my students and with strategies for supporting other teachers and the wider the community at our school.

Engaging in these professional learning experiences were also an excellent next step for me in my role as a specialist teacher in Digital Technologies. It helped me to be more across current technology in the classroom and up-skilling my own practices and understandings. With all the professional learning opportunities I’ve been to with MyLearning I have been able to take back and share with my staff at my school the resources from each conference. I’ve also taken back the strategies for successfully embedding a variety of technology so the learning can continue and more staff and even more students ultimately benefit.”

Philippa Hunt, Specialist teacher for Digital Technologies (Pre Primary to Year 6)

Mandurah Baptist College (WA)

“MyLearning never cease to engage and inspire! Techniques and tools to take back to the classrooms, enthusiastic and knowledgeable presenters”

Carli Baker-Barnes, Learning Technologies Coordinator
